I am back... again

Hello there. Long time no post. So I am making this one so that people won't ask me on facebook if I died :D

So some news.....
Hmm where to start. School is always the same. We got new squedual. It is a little better but I think that I will change again. Don't know if it will be good or bad.

I think I had this new flu. I was really sick for some days and felt really bad. But I think I survived it.

Today was the first day in this school that we wrote some code into our books. It was some plain C just so that we see how this looks. We will be learning c++. But as far I saw this simple C I don't like it. It has some weird stuff in it.

No new project has started... I still don't know what to make. I really have to get an idea.

That is all for now. Here you have some nice G'nR videos :D

Bye for now :D

  1. Yeah plain c is hard. But it is nice to learn, becaus u have to manage alot of stuff by yourself. Even c++ helps u more. C was invented as a portable assembler, therefore its damn mighty and near to the hardware.

  3. Plain C does't have classes. So it is not really a language to learn these days. But it is very close to assebler yea :D

  4. you shouldnt judge a programming languange by its "object-orientedness". ;)

I recently read an article in the game developer amgazine, which told me that OOP isnt the holy grail for game programming. In fact it says its not quite good for games, scince they need a high performance.

I want to try a functional programming language sometimes. Perhabs Haskel will be my choice. There is even an OpenGL integration for it.
